Rhys McLachlan
Director of Advanced Advertising
ITV

Mclachlan, with six years under his belt as ITV’s Director of Advanced Advertising, has spent the last 12 months continuing to drive ad experimentation in CTV and publicly promoting ITV Adlabs unique FAFO Framework for ad innovation. Most recently off the Adlabs production line was a pioneering Lead Gen product that delivered groundbreaking performance in its beta format and is now being re-worked to scale across the entire UK CTV ecosystem.
In addition to LeadGen, Mclachlan’s team has a track record of delivering cutting edge propositions, with Dynamic Weather Targeting, Automated Contextual Targeting, the UKs largest off-platform Retail Media proposition Retail Match, and also in H2 2025 a scaled Auto Match product in partnership with Carwow.
In addition to Adlabs, Mclachlan is also the very public sales lead for ITVs proprietary addressable ad-sales platform Planet V, and continues to be publicly outspoken on the importance of CTV inventory and ad quality, calling out bad actors in the ecosystem with his now inescapable ‘no tomatoes in the fruit salad‘ analogy.
